Radish Noir Gros Long d'Hiver de Paris
Dramatic black roots with starkly contrasting white centres. Traditional French Winter vegetable, it is great for salads or cooked dishes. Sauté and braise or cook like a turnip and smother in cream or butter.
CAN BE USED IN:
SALAD – RAW – STIR FRY – STEAM
Directly into well-prepared soil.
Sow thinly 6mm (¼in) deep in rows 22cm (9in) apart. Cover with fine soil.
Keep moist and feed every 2-3 weeks with liquid fertiliser.
